PRESCHOOL PROGRAM - AGES 2-3

Creative Movement – Ages 2-3

In Creative Movement we introduce classroom structure in a fun learning environment. Dancers will stretch, learn music movement, and basic dance steps. Props, fun music, and lots of singing and dancing are included in this fun interactive class. This is a non-performance (np) class.

 

Mommy & Me - 

This is the perfect class for your little pre-dancer who has just started to walk.  Parent or Guardian will join class and help their little dancer stretch, learn basic music movement, and dance steps.  This is the perfect class for the little ones who aren't quite ready to enter the classroom without their parent. Moms, dads, grandparents, and guardians welcome,

MINI/BEGINNER PROGRAM - AGES 3-10

Ballet 1 - Ages 3-6

This class focuses on teaching dancers the basic fundamentals ballet. This is a performance class and will perform in the annual recital during the Beginner Class Showcase. 

​

Ballet 2 - Ages 6+  

This class will build on the basic fundamentals taught in Level 1. This class focuses on technique, terminology, strength, and flexibility 

This is a performance class and will perform in the annual recital during the Beginner Class Showcase.

Jazz 1/2- Ages 6-10

A high energy beginner class that focuses on turns, isolations, flexibility, and leaps. This is a performance class and will perform in the annual recital during the Beginner Class Showcase. 

​

Contemporary 1/2  - Ages 6-10

This class is an expressive genre of dance where students learn to express their emotions through movement. students will combine ballet and jazz moves to create a moving genre of dance. Dancer should have previous ballet experience and are encouraged to continue to take ballet. This is a performance class and will perform in the annual recital during the Beginner Class Showcase.

Tap 1 - Ages 3-6

This class focuses on teaching dancers the basic fundamentals of tap. This class teaches individual tap technique and beginner step combinations. This is a performance class and will perform in the annual recital during the Beginner Class Showcase.

Hip Hop 1 - Ages 5+

This class teaches fundamental hip-hop dance technique. This is a performance class and will perform in the annual recital during the Beginner Class Showcase.

JUNIOR/INTERMEDIATE PROGRAM - AGES 10+

*Class placement is based on previous experience and younger dancers can be placed at this level if they complete curriculum pre-requisites.  Please inquire before placing your child in this level if under age 10.

 

Ballet 3 -  Ages 9+

This class focuses on technique, terminology, strength, and flexibility.  Class builds on fundamentals leaned in level 2 ballet. Each class will emphasize barre exercises and will also include a challenging combinations of center floor work and across-the-floor combinations.  This is a performance class and will participate in annual recital.

Ballet Technique Intermediate - Ages 9+

This class is for the dancer who wants to build a stronger foundation of ballet.  This class is taken in addition to Ballet 3.  This class is strongly encouraged for dancers wanting to join the competition team or currently on the competition team. Students will focus on building the strength, flexibility and control needed to execute ballet skills.  This is a non-performance (np) class.

Jazz 3/4 - Ages 10+

 A high energy class that focuses on turns, isolations, flexibility, and leaps. This is a performance class and will participate in annual recital.

Contemporary 3/4 - Ages 10+

This class is an expressive genre of dance where students learn to express their emotions through movement. students will combine ballet and jazz moves to create a moving genre of dance. Dancer should have previous ballet experience and are encouraged to continue to take ballet. This is a performance class and will participate in annual recital.

Tap 2/3 - Ages 10+

This class teaches individual tap technique and intermediate step combinations. Students will begin to learn basics of pullbacks, wings, and other key steps and given time in class to work on these more difficult skills. This is a performance class and will participate in annual recital.

Hip Hop 2/3 - Ages 10+

This class teaches fundamental hip-hop dance technique. Dancers will focus on movement through choreography and grooves.  This is a super fun class for intermediate dancers.  his is a performance class and will participate in annual recital.

Intermediate Jazz Turns and Leaps  - Ages 10+

Designed for the motivated and dedicated dancer to improve, practice and maintain technique. This class will review basics but will advance quickly. This class is highly encouraged for dancers interested in joining the competition team or currently on the competition team.  It is strongly recommended to also take the Stretch/Conditioning class. This is a non-performance (np) class.

Intermediate Stretch and Conditioning - Ages 10+

This class is designed to improve a dancer’s range of motion, enhance muscle flexibility and increase their level of core muscle strength.  This class is highly encouraged for dancers interested in joining the competition team or currently on the competition team.  This is a non-performance (np) class.

TEEN/ADVANCED PROGRAM - AGES 13+

*Placement in advanced classes is permitted by director and instructor approval

Ballet 4 - Ages 13+ - This is a performance class and will participate in annual recital.

Ballet 5 - Ages 15+ - This is a performance class and will participate in annual recital.

Advanced Ballet Technique  - This class is taken in conjunction with either Ballet 4 or Ballet 5.  This class is highly encouraged for the competition team members.  This is a non-performance (np) class.

Jazz 4/5  - This is a performance class and will participate in annual recital.

Contemporary 4/5 - This is a performance class and will participate in annual recital.

Hip Hop 4/5 - This is a performance class and will participate in annual recital.

Pre - Pointe - You must gain the Director’s permission to take this class. This intense class is for advanced ballet students who have a strong interest and desire to study pointe but need to further develop and strengthen the muscles and technique necessary to go en pointe. This is a non-performance (np) class.  Must take 2 additional ballet classes. 

Pointe 1 - You must gain the Director’s permission to take this class. This is a performance class and will participate in annual recital. Must take 2 additional ballet classes. 

Pointe 2 - You must gain the Director’s permission to take this class. This is a performance class and will participate in annual recital. Must take 2 additional ballet classes.

Advanced Turns and Leaps - This is a non-performance (np) class.

Advanced Stretch and Conditioning - This is a non-performance (np) class.

Advanced Combo/Improv  - 13+

This is a non-performance (np)  class designed for our competition team members and those interested in joining the competition team. Please see specific guidelines in your competition packet.
